Initially serving Prince Lemiel Silvamillion Clover, the first Wizard King, she used her Sealing Magic to protect him, which ultimately led to her transformation into an anti-bird named Nero after sealing him in a statue. After five centuries, she regains her human form and becomes a loyal companion to Asta, helping him on his journey. Secre is known for her deadpan demeanor and has a penchant for annoying Asta by pecking at his head, yet she is deeply caring and protective of him. Possessing significant magical abilities, she is ranked as an Arcane Stage mage due to her extensive use of Forbidden Magic.
