The Giant Crab is a minor character from 'Ice Age: Continental Drift'. It is a formidable sea creature that appears during a storm while on board the ship with Manny, Diego, and Sid. The crab climbs onto the ship and roars, instilling fear in Sid. When a giant wave approaches, Sid clutches onto the crab's leg, which saves him from the wave's wrath. However, the crab loses one of its legs in the chaos, leaving its fate uncertain as it is presumed deceased. Being a sea creature, it is speculated that it might regenerate its lost limb.
